Last patched drivers for dm800 sim 2.01 - DM 800 Chat. I need the patched drivers for the dm800se tuner (clone). Original tuner driver will not work on a se. After several re-flashes with new images, a replacement tuner, checking the connections, alignment and signal strength is fine accoring to my other boxes, the box worked fine with all channels viewable for the space of 2-3 hours then it packed up again with for instance Sly Sp1 & 4 OK, but Sp2 &3 not.

I got the Tuner A: (empty) nothing issue with my 2nd DM800 clone, I have read through previous threads with similar issues and still haven't managed to find a fix or an answer on drivers relating to tuners. I have tested the tuner from the box which was giving the Empty tuner problem and it is working in another clone box perfectly fine, so I know it's not the tuner. Is there a way to install drivers for certain tuners directly to the box to see if this will fix the issue? As it seems to be more software related than hardware. I have tested various images and all have the same problem, currently on one of the latest patch OpenPLi images. Any suggestions would be great, Tuner is a: Alps BSBE2-801A. This is what I was afraid of, should of bought my clone closer to home, going to cost a good bit to send it back to china if it is the board.

Has anyone returned anything back to mainland china if so whats the best way to go about it and who to use to send it back?I sent my whole box back which was a risk as ive read they smash any electrical items that go through customs in China. I would persevere and try other images with different bootloaders new and older versions.

See if any drivers are in the ts panel and change the power supply thats another known problem. Guessing you have tried another tuner so take out motheboard and send that back on its own.

Are you in UK? Cost me 27 quid to send whole box back with Post Office that was cheapest option. Only other option is to buy another box or motherboard it might work out cheaper that way in the long run. Thats what i initally tried with the tuner. I used the tspanen plugin.addons.sim2-addons.sim2-dm800-drivers and I downloaded dreambox-dvb-modules_2.6.18-7.4-dm81-sim-2-mfaraj57, I also upgraded the bootloader to 84# so not sure if that halped too.Did you install TS Panel manually or through OpenPLi plugin manager?

I tried installing it before and it kept coming up with errors? I think it may just be a driver issue as everything else seems to be working fine, tested with another psu and still works it just doesn't detect the tuner correctly. Im on 84B at the minute, would it be worth trying a different bootloader?

Hi all i have a clone 800 hd se it came loaded with a russian image which i hated. Been trying to flash a new image but have no luck so far.the box seems to have crashed at the mo. This was due to downloading a plugin to help with motor settings. So i think now my only option is dreamup. So far i have drivers installed cp210x usb to uart. And am using universal dreamup v.1.3.3.7.

Im connecting to the dm with a usb to the mini usb service port. Ive changed to com port 3 in device manager and dreamup connects to the dm. And reconises it. When box is powered up a loading bar turn green and travels all the way and say upload complete waiting for acknoledgement. And that as far as it goes.

I have not tried flashing anything as yet. I also tried turning off firewall on pc. I also tried with the network cable disconnected. I have only tried one usb to mini usb and wondered if there were different types of cable or are they standard. I think i have reached the point where i need a little help if thats ok. Have you tryed to flash the image via your web browser?

That is the best way, only takes about 3 or 4 minutes. Turn the power off on the box(not just standby), hold in the front power button, while switching the power back on, keep holding the button in till it say's stop, it should then say dhcp, then it will show an ip address, the box is now entered flash mode. On your pc open a web browser and enter the ip adress on the display of your box, a page will now show up, at the bottom it should say FIRMWARE UPGRADE, click on that, then you can browse to where you have the image saved, now you click FLASH, and the image will upload to the box, once it does press REBOOT NOW, your box should reboot and that should be it. If you use firefox use a version older than 4 as i have heard 4 won't work correctly, also make sure you have an image with the bootloader integrated or you will get a no ca error.
