Earlier this month bassist Bill Reynolds and guitarist Tyler Ramsey from. While the pair took to social media to reveal their decisions, the band didn’t acknowledge there would be a change to the lineup. Last night BoH played their first show since Bill and Tyler’s declarations and the three remaining members were accompanied by a pair of additional musicians. Frontman Ben Bridwell, drummer Creighton Barrett and keyboardist Ryan Monroe were joined by bassist Matt Gentling and guitarist Richie Kirkpatrick. Gentling, best known for his time with Archers Of Loaf, had actually toured with Band Of Horses in 2007 ahead of Bill Reynolds becoming a member of the group. There is still no word as to whether Gentling and Kirkpatrick are permenant additions.

Thursday’s show took place at The Moon in Tallahassee. Band Of Horses mixed material from throughout their career including six songs from 2007’s Cease To Begin, five songs from 2006’s Everything All The Time and four a piece off 2010’s Infinite Arms and 2016’s Why Are You Okay. The band didn’t perform any tunes from 2012’s Mirage Rock. In other Band Of Horses news, Ben Bridwell & Co. Added two new legs to their upcoming touring plans. The group will tour Europe between mid-August and early-September.

Band Of Horses kick off the U.S. Portion of their Fall Tour 2017 at the Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga on September 22. From there, the band focuses on the Southeast with performances planned in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Florida including what is currently slated as the tour closer at The Fillmore in Miami Beach on October 8.
